Solvay Executive MBA
Women Change-Agent Scholarship
In Belgium, women held only 16.7% of Executive Committee (ExCo) positions in 2023. The Woman Change-Agent Scholarship was established to challenge this status quo and catalyse a more equitable business world.
This scholarship honours talented female candidates by offering a 16.7% tuition fee reduction for the Executive MBA programme.
Scholarship scheme
For more than 120 years, we have trained women and men to lead with sustainable impact. Our ambition is to achieve gender equality in our recruitment by 2026 and for women, through high-quality lifelong learning, to close the gap in leadership positions. JUMP’s 2023 report on “The place of women at the top of the BEL20” reveals important figures:
- Women make up over 50% of the population and almost 60% of university graduates
- However, they represent 40% of the Directory Boards and only 16.7% of the Executive Committee members (ExCo)
- To break the glass ceiling, Solvay Lifelong Learning introduces the Women Change Agent Scholarship to facilitate access to our flagship Executive Master in Business Administration
Important note
Please be aware that these scholarships are limited in both amount and number. The awarding committee focuses its selection on candidates with limited financial means, ensuring that high-potential leaders from diverse economic backgrounds can access our educational excellence.
