BRUSSELS, 12 October 2026 — Solvay Lifelong Learning is delighted to announce that its Executive MBA (EMBA) programme has climbed ten places to 88th in the Financial Times (FT) Executive MBA Global Ranking, reaffirming its position among the world’s leading executive education programmes. This progress reflects the programme’s continued commitment to academic excellence, professional impact and an international learning experience.
A particularly important factor in this year’s result was the outstanding response rate from Solvay EMBA alumni. Their willingness to share their experiences and insights played a valuable role in the ranking process, underlining the strength of the Solvay community and the lasting connection between the programme and its graduates. Solvay Lifelong Learning sincerely thanks all alumni who took the time to participate and contribute to this achievement.
The improved ranking follows continued momentum for the programme, which has once again attracted a diverse cohort of experienced professionals. Bringing together participants with different backgrounds, perspectives and ambitions, the Solvay EMBA continues to offer a learning environment grounded in practical application, peer exchange and the challenges of contemporary leadership.
“Moving up ten places in the Financial Times EMBA ranking is an encouraging recognition of our programme’s quality and our alumni’s achievements, reinforcing our commitment to helping experienced professionals become thoughtful, effective leaders,” states Inmaculada Macias Alonso, Academic co-Director of the EMBA.
Established in 1990, the Solvay EMBA draws on a longstanding tradition of academic grounding and a strong connection to business realities. Its active learning approach combines faculty expertise with real-world perspectives, preparing experienced professionals to navigate complexity, lead change and create sustainable value in their organisations.
Moving up ten places in the Financial Times ranking also reflects the collective commitment of the Solvay Lifelong Learning team, the Solvay Faculty, and ULB to continuously strengthen the programme. Their shared efforts help ensure that participants benefit from an education that combines rigorous academic foundations with tangible professional relevance.
As Solvay Lifelong Learning celebrates this progress, it remains focused on the future: building on the programme’s strengths, listening to its community, and continuing to enhance the experience and impact of its Executive MBA. The result is not only a milestone in the rankings, but also an opportunity to recognise the partners, faculty and colleagues whose engagement helps move the programme forward.
