Solvay Brussels School of Economics & Management is thrilled to announce a significant milestone for its Executive Master in Business Administration (EMBA). Our flagship programme has earned its place in the prestigious Financial Times EMBA Ranking 2023, securing the 95th position. This achievement places us among the top 100 EMBA programmes globally, reaffirming our commitment to delivering quality education.

Our EMBA journey began in 1990 when the programme was founded by Andre Farber and Marie Christine Adam. Since then, we have been dedicated to nurturing and equipping talented individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to lead organisations, people, and projects to success.

What sets our EMBA programme apart is our learner-centred curriculum and active learning approach. We empower professionals to take significant strides in their careers by providing them with the tools, strategies, and insights they need to excel in a rapidly evolving business landscape.

Our commitment to excellence doesn't stop there. We are proud to be one of the select few EMBA programmes worldwide that have taken a stand for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Our dedication is exemplified by the creation of a dedicated scholarship and the integration of sustainability-oriented content throughout our courses. Furthermore, our Sustainability & Innovation Lab serves as a hub for exploring innovative solutions that address pressing global challenges.

The recognition awarded by the Financial Times ranking underscores the effectiveness of our career advancement programme. Graduates of our EMBA programme have gone on to make a significant impact in their respective fields, joining a vibrant network of over 37,000 alumni. This network continues to provide valuable support and opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Our entrance into the Financial Times EMBA Ranking 2023 couldn't have come at a more fitting time. It coincides with the paramount of our 120th-anniversary celebration. Since its inception by Belgian humanist and entrepreneur Ernest Solvay, our institution has remained at the forefront of business education in Belgium and has become a leader in the Federation Wallonie Bruxelles.

As we embrace this new recognition and celebrate our rich history, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated teachers and educational administrators who work everyday for our school to have a decisive and positive impact on how economic and business challenges are addressed. We also want to express our deep appreciation to our learners, both past and present for their confidence in trusting us with their transformational journey.

More than ever, quality is of prime importance for our school through its Assurance of Learning, International Accreditations & Rankings. Here’s to many more years of excellence in education and leadership development at the heart of Europe, our home: Brussels.
