The programme focuses on practical knowledge and learning, fostering connections and inspiration. Our optional study trip involves masterclasses and networking events hosted by major market players such as banks, asset managers, stock exchanges and fintech accelerators, complementary with the programme credited lectures.

The Advanced Master in Financial Markets is designed to help you develop knowledge and an entirely new skill set: a strong understanding of market practices, financial techniques, risk management and the new regulatory environment - with courses given by an exceptional cast of senior practitioners.

Admission Procedure


  1. Complete and submit the online application form, inclusive of a cover letter
    (there is no application fee).
    > Deadline for EU students: 31/07/24
    > Deadline for non-EU students: 31/05/24 (recommendation related to visa procedures)
  2. Have an interview with the admission team
  3. Write a short essay on a financial subject
  4. Receive feedback on your admission!

Financial Aid
  • Early bird: Early bird applicants who submit their applications before the end of the early bird date will receive a discount on the tuition fees.
  • Alumni of the Solvay Brussels School, Solvay Lifelong Learning, Université libre de Bruxelles and Vrije Universiteit Brussel benefit from a 10% discount on tuition fees.

Subject to renewal of the regional agreements

  • Brussels region - Paid Training Leave: Paid educational leave allows workers (private sector) to train during the day or in staggered hours, while retaining their salary. Employers receive reimbursement from Brussels Economy and Employment, based on certain criteria. The employee must submit the certificate of enrolment (specific certificate for educational leave issued by the school) to his employer within 20 days of the start of the course. This certificate must be delivered to the employer either by registered mail or with an acknowledgement of receipt.   • Flanders region - SME Wallet: The SME e-wallet is oriented towards practitioners of ‘liberal professions’ and SMEs whose operational headquarters are located in the Flemish Region. You have to submit the subsidy application within 14 days of the start of the programme/module/course. (for more information: VLAIO)

  • Wallonia region - Training Vouchers: Full or part-time employees from SME which has a maximum of 250 workers as well as self-employed. You have to submit the subsidy application within 14 days of the start of the programme/module/course. (for more information: Forem)
