Ever since, our accredited european school has built up a tradition of excellence and innovation in business and economics learning, fuelled by deep connections within Brussels' multinational entrepreneurial network.

As one of the largest universities in Belgium with around 24.000 students every year, the ULB offers a campus with numerous facilities and functions: sports, libraries, health services, restaurants, concerts, conferences, and many other cultural events throughout the year. All this is perfectly backgrounded by Brussels' spirited cosmopolitan environment, home to some 300.000 expats, the EU and NATO headquarters, and thousands of international corporations.

Programme Manager
Rosanna Belmonte
The fast-paced working environment of today’s businesses and organisations, in concert with the rapid structural and technical changes observed in the last years due to the pandemic and other socio-economic factors, have made evident the need for agile, efficient leadership. Today’s (and tomorrow’s) leaders are urged to constantly stay ahead of the curve but often have little time left at the end of the day to invest in optimising the competencies which will help them achieve that.

Accredited European School

The Solvay Brussels School of Economics & Management is both certified by and benchmarked against the European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS label), the leading worldwide business school accreditation system. Every 3 to 5 years, the school is subjected to the most demanding independent evaluation: research, faculty, quality of programmes and infrastructures, commitments in innovation, school's vision, partnerships and inclusion of the business world in the school management, EQUIS examines every aspect of what makes a top business school. EQUIS also guides and encourages candidate business schools to make improvements where necessary and globally helps raise the standards of management education. For students and post-graduate participants, the EQUIS represents a benchmark to which they can compare the school's achievements.

SBS is also accredited by AMBA and Qfor, and is one of the founders of the Quantitative Techniques for Economics and Management (QTEM) programme - a network of several renowned business schools in full expansion.

Consequently, Solvay Brussels School is one of the best known and trusted business schools in Belgium by both students and employers.
