About the speaker
Presented by Olivier Kaczmarek
Olivier has been advising large multinational companies for 20 years on their treasury practice and risk management strategies. One of his core focuses has been to optimise & streamline the cross-functional approach to the management of financial and commodity risks from an economic and accounting standpoint.
He led numerous projects ranging from the set-up of Treasury Policies for large multinational corporations, risk reviews for Corporate Treasury departments of private companies and state departments to multi-year projects for the creation and set-up of risk management departments in large consumer product goods companies.
He also led numerous Treasury Management system deployment projects in SMEs as well as in large corporations.
Before co-founding O2 Finance with Olivier Cattoor, he previously worked for PwC Consulting in Brussels, for BNP Paribas in Paris and also as a freelance consultant. His professional qualifications include a Master in Management Science (Solvay Business School – 2002) and a Certified Risk Manager (GARP / FRM – 2007).
